Taking time to care for your mental health is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and those you love. As a clinical psychologist, I specialize in treating adults and adolescents with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationship concerns, and substance use. My therapeutic approach is holistic and evidence-based, and includes an assessment of client strengths and lifestyle factors that contribute to mental health (e.g., hobbies, sleep, exercise, nutrition, social connections, and spirituality). My goal is to support individuals in creating deeper connection, engagement, and experiences of love in life.
In working with adults, I frequently support clients through life transitions, relationship concerns, work stress, and past trauma. When treating adolescents, I collaborate with parents to address common teen concerns including problematic phone and internet use, depression, lack of motivation, and academic problems.
Before entering private practice, I served as the Director of Behavioral Health at a psychiatric hospital in Hawaii. I enjoy working with clients to gain a better understanding of themselves and create lasting changes.
