The most important part of the therapeutic process is the bond or relationship between you and your therapist. After establishing the client/therapist bond, I've seen individuals achieve their goals and make significant improvements in overall wellbeing. The therapy style I provide is rooted in Black or Afrocentric world view as well as Queer and Feminist theories to incorporate your intersectional identity and unique life experience into therapy.
One of the most important tenants of social work is engagement in social justice, something I too find powerful and necessary.
With 10 years of experience in trauma recovery, I understand the ways we are impacted are complex and overwhelming. I bring an inclusive and nonjudgmental approach to exploring trauma. I use evidence-based techniques tailored to meet your unique needs.
