I’m so glad you’re here. Starting anything new can feel overwhelming. It takes courage to take that first step towards healing! My name is Edna Lippi Brown and I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the past 25 years. My mission is to do my part in helping to move my clients and community towards healing and growth. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and life-changing medical diagnoses. My belief is that you and I are a team, and I am here to support and guide you on this journey towards empowerment, self-fulfillment, and the life that you want to live.
Over the course of my career my style and approach to therapy has evolved and grown. I use DBT (a combination of Cognitive and Mindfulness skills), EMDR, as well as Compassion-Focused Therapy in my sessions. These therapies are adaptable in working with a variety of clients, regardless of gender identity, age, sexual orientation/identity, or race.
Investing in yourself is a brave and wise decision. I believe we each deserve to live the life we desire, untethered from the effects of past negative experiences and trauma. My goal is that the work we do together will bring you to a place of deeper authenticity, self-awareness and empowerment, as well as the knowledge that you are absolutely worthy.
