In today's complex world many struggle with relationship problems, depression, anxiety and work-related stress. Life is messy. Human beings are complicated, full of paradoxes. Feelings are unpredictable and irrational. It’s no wonder relationships, especially with those most important to us, can be so challenging. To help with your particular concern, I can offer individual therapy, EMDR (often used for trauma and PTSD), and/or couples counseling.
I specialize in working with couples and relationship issues. We all want to feel loved and connected, not hurt and alone. Let me help you improve communication skills, resolve conflicts, increase intimacy and restore (or build) trust and hope. Expertise in working with infidelity/trust issues.
With over 25 years experience, I've worked with a wide variety of issues. But, universal is the need to feel safe, heard and cared for. My style is warm, respectful, down to earth. My orientation is integrative, looking at the whole person (or couple) in the full context of their life, relationships and history.
