A willingness to work with a supportive, experienced (since 1979) social worker/therapist who uses dynamic and interactive approaches, knowing that I am the guide, and you are the one who knows yourself best and that healing comes from within. I specialize in relationships, spirituality, addiction/recovery, stress management, trauma, depression, anxiety, women's issues, body image, sexuality, career growth, family, recovery from illness or injury, aging, loss and grief.
I use an eclectic, spontaneous and intuitive approach, incorporating writing, art, metaphor and movement at times. I offer a safe and insightful environment that allows my clients to open to growth and change. I am also an interfaith minister, so I can address spiritual issues if they arise in sessions.
