Anxiety is an exhausting cycle. Negative thoughts, feelings, and memories are natural parts of being a human being, but they don’t have to control your life or take away from what is truly meaningful to you. I believe that having a space to explore your feelings in an open, non-judgmental environment can relieve some of the pressure and make it possible to invest time and effort into what you truly care about. Once you learn how to manage your anxiety and intrusive thoughts effectively, your life can become much richer and more meaningful.
I’m a counselor who works with adult clients with anxiety, OCD, and PTSD symptoms. I am a therapist who listens more than I speak and tries not to force one-size-fits-all solutions onto clients with complex issues. I draw on person-centered, CBT, and ACT techniques in my work as a counselor, and strive to be flexible and adaptable to meet unique needs.
