It can interfere with important relationships, & it can block us from successfully pursuing important goals. This disconnectedness can lead to existential voids & unpleasant or frightening thoughts. Yet proven evidence-based treatments for this phenomenon exist.
My trauma informed style helps clients explore & know themselves more fully in a non-judgmental way while also identifying areas for potential growth. I help clients identify hidden & destructive thinking patterns. With new insights, clients can reconnect with themselves & others again in fuller and more rewarding ways.
With a prior background in heavy construction, I'm a blue-collar guy who just happened to become a counselor. As a bereaved parent, I understand the pain of loss/grief/trauma personally & up close.
