I’ve been a licensed psychotherapist for many years and now retired. Over the span of my career, I’ve worked with children, adults and families to help them achieve a higher quality of life. This is why people seek out therapy. I recognize when people experience symptoms of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, adult ADHD, depression, stress, or struggles that arise in work, friends, close/marital and family relationships can often lead to feeling trapped. I can help you become aware of negative thinking through the process of self-discovery so you can approach difficult situations with more rationality and balanced thinking. This can be a useful way to deal with emotional challenges related to mental conditions, as well as daily life challenges, that leave you feeling trapped and uncertain of your next move.
Ed will collaborate with you to decide the best approach by encouraging clients to voice their thoughts and feelings about a problematic situation and provider relevant task outside the therapy session to keep the momentum going.
