About
If you or someone you know struggles with the damage either alcohol or drugs has created in your life, asking for help can sometimes be very difficult. My passion for substance abuse treatment began as a result of the compassion, understanding and non-judgmental help I was offered during a difficult time in my life. My approach is to allow each person to recognize that change comes from within the individual and my role is to be the helper in that process of change. Utilizing an evidence-based approach in collaboration with an individuals instinctual ability to change, we will work to meet your established treatment goals.
Identifying each persons individual goals is the first step in the process of change. In my opinion there is no one size fits all when it comes to treatment. Maybe substance use has created family, employment, or legal issues and you would like to begin addressing the unmanageability it has created.
I entered this field to help, like someone once helped me. You already have the ability to change and maybe together we can find that ability. Treatment should be about your goals for change. If you think the decision to get help is hard, it is. If you think the decision to get help will be worth it, it is.
