My approach is eclectic and tailored to meet the client where they are. I am open to all spiritual and religious backgrounds, and to those who wish to develop their own unique spirituality. My work supports monogamy, poly, ENM, open, etc. I focus on lifestyle cultivation, stress-reduction, work-life balance, ADHD, neurodivergence, depression and anxiety, pre-natal and post-natal concerns, marriage, divorce, grief and end-of-life concerns.

Amy is the clinical director at BBH and has over 18 years of experience working in the therapy field. She received her Master's Degree of Science with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Rhode Island. She specializes in working with children, parenting, and adults. Amy has extensive experience using EMDR, CBT, DBT etc and has consistent success working with children and adults with Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, Depression, Trauma and many of life's issues.

I am ready to meet you wherever you are in your healing journey- whether that's taking first steps with you, or catching up with you somewhere along the way. My belief is that people have potential within themselves to nurture growth, and together we discover these gifts and write stories of recovery from anxiety, depression, trauma, and many more issues related to the challenges of life. My practice is grounded in evidence-based theory, however my arts background inspires a unique environment for acceptance and transformation. I've worked with all ages and stages along the lifespan and truly enjoy listening and holding space.

My goal as a clinician is to help you learn the strategies and techniques you need to cope with whatever brings you to my office. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method, but rather try to tailor my methods to my clients' needs. Primarily, I work with adolescents, parents, and couples, as well as adults on an individual basis. I try to be both practical and understanding in my approach to treatment.

My focus is helping couples, individuals, and families identify and address what "doesn't work", and in a meaningful and respectful way, communicate their needs to create balance throughout the system. I believe in a systemic approach, and through the use of empathy, motivation, and a bit of humor, aim to help families recognize their strengths, and put those strengths to use in problem solving. My ability to join with families and couples (showing equal respect for each person in that system) has been my strongest tool in promoting success. I welcome any challenge.
