Hello! My name is Diane Maytas, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation, EMDR Certified Therapist, Art Therapist, and Clinical Hypnotherapist. My approach is holistic, eclectic, and spiritualistic. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, relationship issues, grief, and phase of life issues.

I have served those with Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Family Issues, etc. My ideal client is motivated to roll up their sleeves and engage in the therapeutic process. They have an open mind and can practice effective coping skills to improve their overall functioning and quality of life. They can challenge themselves to be vulnerable and practice accountability while processing their problematic thinking patterns and behaviors in a safe and non-judgmental environment. They wish to engage in therapy because they realize that they need to make a change and are willing to take a leap of faith to make it happen.

I have many years of experience working with early childhood trauma and severe, persistent mental illness, varying from ages of 5 years to 70+. My goal is to empower and advocate for positive change within you, as the individual, and the system as a whole. The place that we will create together is a safe and judgement free space. I work through an Existential foundation, to help those I work with seek meaning and purpose, with skills built from experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, all within the context of a trauma-informed approach.

Mind Care Ohio is a multidisciplinary practice offering both general psychological and nutritional care and specialization in the treatment of eating disorders in children, teens, and adults. We provide both outpatient individual services in counseling and nutrition as well as group programming around binge eating recovery and body image concerns (please see "group" section for details). Our staff includes: Tara Tozzi, PsyD, Antoinette Nethery, LPCC, Mary Robinson, LPC, and Wendy Kirby, LD, RD.

Juliane has a master’s degree from University of Kentucky and is a supervising licensed independent social worker with 25 years of experience. She has experience working with individuals, families and couples ranging from age 5 to 99 in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, homes, residential treatment facilities, outpatient community mental health and adolescent detention centers. Most recently Juliane has worked with people coping with major illness (particularly cancer).

Most of my clients are high-performers who are looking to reach their peak potential. Common reasons for seeking me out are: handling pressure, loss of confidence, returning from injury, and leadership development.

Lisa Lutz is a licensed counselor with over 15 years of experience. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Dayton. For her, the best part of counseling is hearing people’s stories and helping them work toward their individual goals.

Kami Imes (she/her) is a licensed independent social worker with a supervisory designation and a certified employee assistance professional. She earned her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Akron. Kami has a wide range of mental health experience including providing counseling for individuals and families in hospital, hospice, and outpatient settings. She has worked with adult clients on issues including but not limited mood disorders, adjustment disorders, life transitions, anxiety disorders and grief.

I recognize that we all face challenges in life and sometimes we need someone to walk with us in those challenges to provide support and ask questions that help us regain our power. While I have a particular love for working with teens, young adults, and couples, I have a great deal of experience working with children and families as well. I love to harness each client’s individual strengths and interests including music, spirituality, reading, creative writing, anime, and video games to help identify your values and goals.

When things aren’t right and you don’t know what to do, it can be comforting to know that it doesn’t have to stay that way. When you are overwhelmed it can be hard to make day to day decisions let alone navigate the big picture. Whether you are struggling with anxiety or grief, going through a major life transition or loss, or simply wanting to feel like yourself again, I am here to be with you through that process.

I hold space for folks who are navigating anxiety, chronic stress, grief, trauma and loss. My work is grounded in neuroscience but inspired by holistic practices like yoga psychology, mindfulness meditation, somatic movement and nervous system tending. I believe in our inherent resiliency, and trust that each of us holds the capacity to heal, when given safe + equitable space to do so. I will work with you to unravel the layers of life that influence every facet of your being, through a trauma informed and human centered lens. Wherever you are in your non-linear journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

I am here to guide you through the uncomfortable parts of life both present and past, sit in them with you and work together to find a way through. I bring a straightforward approach and will push you to explore places of yourself you may want to run from. I believe therapeutic treatment should consist of a mutually respectful relationship between myself as the provider, and you as the client, in which we work together to confront the underlying beliefs and experiences that have brought you to therapy. I am also familiar with working in conjunction with local school districts to provide additional support for student mental health.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of presenting issues and specialize in treating eating disorders, body image disturbances, depression and other mood disorders, personality difficulties, relationship struggles, and anxiety/panic disorder. I also specialize in psychological/psychoeducational testing to assess learning abilities, attention, cognitive skills, and intelligence. My treatment approach is very individualized and I tend to focus on both current symptoms/behaviors and the origins of a person's struggles. I also believe in creating a relaxed and natural relationship full of compassion and humor.

If you are at a place where you are experiencing some difficulties in life, you do not have to stay in that place. I offer a wide variety of knowledge, experience, compassion, and empathy into my time with others. I enjoy infusing my work with a lot of humor, and creativity, while embracing the holistic model of the mind/body connection.

Antoinette Nethery is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in the treating of binge eating disorder and general disordered eating, anxiety disorders, and depression/mood disorders. She also welcomes individuals struggling with family and relationship difficulties, stress management, and problematic behavior patterns.

Lori Wolfe earned her master's degree from Ohio University in 1994. She has worked in private practice settings, as well as community mental health. Lori's treatment focus is couples, adults, and very young children. She specializes in helping families with parenting concerns and new mothers experiencing postpartum depression. Lori is adept in assisting couples with marital issues and she has a wealth of experience treating adults with anxiety and depression.

My clients describe me as empathetic and someone who creates a safe environment where they can express their feelings and feel heard. Many feel they want someone to help them process their issues and receive the tools to succeed. Some have relationship issues, others have family dynamics, and others are dealing with emotional challenges such as depression, anxiety, and grief. I am a therapist who provides a safe space to process issues and empower my clients to succeed.
