Diane McMahon EdS, RN, LPC has been licensed in the healing arts since 1976. Through her years of continuing education and hands-on experience, she has successfully facilitated the ethical healing, empowerment and growth of clients of all ages. Diane spent 20 years working in the nursing field as a pediatric nurse, psychiatric nurse, and as a nursing educator. Since 2001, she has worked as a counselor primarily in schools and in community-based services providing Individual, Couple, Family and Group Counseling. New to her curriculum vitae is the addition of the EAGALA certification using horses as part of a therapeutic process for clients.

We are highly experienced (30 years), very caring, and effective psychologists. Clients often remark that it is a pleasure to be treated in a very personable manner. We determine with whom you will meet at our first phone conversation. For example, Dr. Mark is licensed in NJ as a Psychologist and a Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. At your initial visit, either Dr. Mark or Dr. Tamara will meet with you to discuss your presenting concerns in a comprehensive manner. We evaluate your problems, strengths, history and goals. We then develop a treatment plan that is unique for your needs.

My specialty areas include working with individual and child/family therapy. With individual/adult treatment I work with mood and anxiety disorders with a specialty in Post Traumatic Stress, survivors of childhood abuse and trauma recovery. My work with children ranges from age 4 through college age. My individual work with children includes management of depression, anxiety and physical/sexual abuse as well as working with children with ADHD. I also include a family/parenting component when working with children.

Judy, director for The New Jersey Institute For Neurofeedback, has always had a passion for helping people. First as a Critical Care Nurse and now as a therapist, Judy has supported and encouraged people of all ages in their efforts to grow and change. Studying the brain and behavior has been her passion for years. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with all forms of eating disorders and disordered eating. Clients who come to see me may have just been diagnosed with an eating disorder or have been struggling for years. Some clients aren't sure if they have an eating disorder, but know they are struggling with food and their body. Clients often reach out to me because they know that I practice from a Health at Every Size(R) framework and they want treatment that is not stigmatizing about weight. Adolescent clients and their families often seek me out because of my expertise doing Family Based Treatment.
