Welcome! I’m Sehnaz Zor, a licensed professional counselor. I have a BA in Psychology (1994), an MA in Psychological Counseling (2001) and I have Post-Master's Certificate in Professional Counseling (2003). I have worked in Partial Hospital and Outpatient settings since 2003, have vast experience working in individual and group settings and I have been providing couples, marriage/family therapy for many years on a regular basis. Some of the clinical issues I have worked with the most are depression, grief/loss, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, anxiety/stress, anger, adjustment to life changes and finding purpose in life

What we overlook is the important scientific understanding that many of these problems are also partly the result of chronic stress, that has affected our brains and minds at some point in our physiological and psychological development, and the various coping styles we have developed to survive within that stressful environment. Scientific studies have shown that these 'coping habits' we developed, can be changed with awareness and training of the workings of our minds.
