I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents, teens, and adults of all ages. I specialize in helping people with depression and anxiety, and have worked with individuals on the autism spectrum, those suffering from trauma and PTSD, and individuals struggling with codependency issues and substance abuse.

I have worked in the West Branch community since 2014. I earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies and Public Agency Service from Northern Arizona University. I offer 21 years of experience working in Community-Based Services and am dedicated to assisting individuals find healing, develop personal empowerment and recovery. My approach is person-centered, compassionate, psychodynamic, eclectic, and solution-focused. I have served in a variety of settings, including a domestic violence and homeless shelter, a substance abuse treatment center, and Community Mental Health.

My passion as a clinician lies in helping my clients feel they are living their lives to their fullest potential. I know the struggle to feel in control of your life often leads to feeling out of sorts in every arena of life. I’m here to help you sort out the pieces and feel like you are in charge. While I do focus on certain areas: anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body image and adjusting to life transitions I try my hardest to help my clients understand that they are more than their struggle areas. Hi, my name is Charra. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), offering in-person and virtual (phone, telehealth) mental health services in Michigan. I provide support for those coping with childhood abuse, trauma, PTSD, codependency, mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodivergence, and grief and loss. I am also passionate about working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

I am a fully-licensed Clinical Psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association with over 20 years of experience in my field. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings providing a wide range of psychological services to individuals diverse in age, as well as, ethnicity and lifestyle. For the last 18 years, I have been working in my own private practice serving both children & adults with various mental health, behavioral and/or relationship challenges. I have a master’s diploma in Intuition Medicine, a system of expanded perception of the world through the development of the human sense of intuition. This includes an integrated study of subtle energy anatomy systems and their connection to the physical anatomical systems.
