My ideal client or couple is seeking mental health support regarding past trauma(s), depression/anxiety, workplace stressors, relationship/sex/intimacy issues, family issues... basically anything that is impacting their ideal functioning. I have many years of experience in mental health and addiction settings, and have a strong interest in working with professional and young adult populations struggling with depression, stress, grief, life transitions, anxiety, addiction and recovery. My training has been in helping individuals recover from difficult relationships, enhancing coping skills, prioritizing self-care, and the promotion of positive communication skills. I am also interested in how art and creativity can help individuals access their strength and resiliency in the face of life’s challenges.

David Fletcher-Janzen is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LCPC, LPCC) in Illinois and Ohio. After 30 years of working as a CEO in psychiatric and chemical dependency hospitals, David provides individual therapy to adults and seniors. He specializes in treating concerns related to life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. David earned his Bachelor of Science in Education at the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Education in Counseling at Texas State University.
