I have over 25 years working in the field of psychology. I believe that the key to most emotional and psychological problems lies in relationships, those in the past and in the present. I believe conscious and unconscious behavior patterns can cause difficulties in life, and these behavior problems can be changed or modified. My approach is eclectic , and I use various modalities within a psychodynamic framework. I am also trained as a trauma specialist and EMDR therapist. I believe trauma can keep people stuck in behaviors and emotional dysfunction and EMDR is a highly effective way of reprocessing "stuck" trauma.

I am a person-centered therapist, which means that my focus is helping clients realize their full potential. I've been a professional counselor for more than eight years, and I've worked with people who had issues like depression, anxiety, family problems, ADHD, anger management, emotional abuse, and trauma. I am a compassionate person. I believe in treating everyone the way I would like to be treated, with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. My counseling approach is eclectic therapy. Eclectic therapy draws on multiple theoretical orientations and techniques to find the best fit for clients’ needs.

She is a member of the LPCAGA(Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia) and GABA(Georgia Association of Behavior Analysis). Dee earned her Masters of Science in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Dee has worked in the mental health field for over 18 years and has experience and training in crisis intervention, stress management, dual diagnoses, behavioral support, family conflict and other issues.

Jabreeka Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has 10 years of experience providing a safe environment for a variety of populations of all ages including, but not limited to, adolescents, adults, and couples who are dealing with relationship issues, school or work-related stress, anxiety, depression, life transitional issues, and dysfunctional family dynamics.
