I work with individuals, couples, and partners as they navigate the effects of sex and pornography addiction. Whether your position is as a person who lives with sex addiction or as a partner who has experienced betrayal trauma, I will offer support and hope as we determine the appropriate and workable course to help you maneuver through difficulties and challenges, create more balance and peace, and discover tools to live life with more joy. Additionally, I am experienced in working with substance abuse and addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders.

Many of the clients I've worked with have experienced a sense of feeling stuck in some area of their life whether it's in their relationships with themselves or with others. They desire for their life to look different, but are at a loss of how to create the change they're longing for and only end up feeling anxious, depressed, or attempting to fill the void or distract from the feelings of overwhelm that a different way of life is possible.

I believe that our minds and hearts, like our bodies, possess an innate wisdom and ability to heal, given the right environment and structure. Sometimes we get stuck in old patterns and beliefs that helped us in the circumstances we learned them in, but need to be updated in order to allow us to fully embody our best, most authentic and empowered selves. Therapy can assist us in learning more about what automatic programs our system is running, and give us the tools to make these changes.

I'm competent in individual, couples, family or group therapy. My background in mental health creates a good fit for identifying issues and safety concerns.
