I have been at this for a long time and I feel that people know what's best and what they want for themselves, but they don't know how to get there at times. They need help, support and confidence in themselves to get there. There are so many variables that get in the way including various forms of abuse, mental health issues, family problems and drug and alcohol issues. I love to help clients work through these issues and concerns to help them restore confidence in themselves and be able to trust their own decisions. Not accepting clients. Populations I really enjoy working with are youth (ages 13+) and young adults. I feel this has definitely become my niche as this tends to be a transition period for youth with learning who they are as an individual, finding their voice, peer/school pressure, and social media. As well young adults (18-30) what I notice is this age group really struggles with boundary setting as they are transitioning from being under their parents to being an adult. I also enjoy helping them with identification of values and beliefs what are important to them, follow through and helping them learn to have healthy habits.

I love working with people who are looking to make change and engage in life in new ways. If that means learning to accept things as they are, learning new ways of thinking or behaving, or getting rid of unhelpful thoughts or habits, I believe we can do those things. I have experience working with issues such as depression, anxiety, major life transitions, anger issues, relationship issues (romantic partner, family, workplace, etc), sexual issues, grief, and spiritual/faith-based issues among others.

Eileen received her Master's degree from Barry University in Miami, FL, and is licensed in Florida as well as her home state of Idaho.
