My therapeutic approach is best described as a cognitive-behavioral-affective approach which utilizes a humanistic-existential base to strategically enact change through direct experience through a challenge. It is client-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based. I use an eclectic blend of modalities including humanistic, CBT/mindfulness, motivational interviewing, solution- focused, and existential psychology. I focus on personal rehabilitation, growth, development, and enhancement of an individual's physical, social and psychological well-being through the application of structured activities involving direct experience.

An important question we explore is: "How are the events in my life trying to expand me?" This is a powerful question, much more so than, "Why me?"
