My name is Ebony Brown, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over 8 years of experience working with all populations. I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem, depression, behavioral & mental health concerns, suicidal ideation, grief, and severe trauma. I believe that strengthening therapeutic alliance is established through trust, transparency, and creating a safe environment through a non-judgmental approach.
My most common theoretical approaches in my work include Psychodynamic, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Family therapy, Solution-focused brief therapy, some experience in DBT, and Crisis intervention.
I love empowering patients to create S.M.A.R.T. goals and selecting a target or objective they wish to achieve. This is a collaborative approach where we both work together in setting realistic goals.
