Hello! I am Eboni Omar an LPC, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC). Being open, honest, and providing a safe space is my approach to therapy to assist in teaching individuals the tools to learn healthier ways to handle life’s challenges with thoughts, feelings, relationships, and home and work life. My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered, drawing on techniques from various therapeutic frameworks, primarily CBT. I focus on helping clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals.
I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly, empowering you to make meaningful changes in your life. My counseling tone is understanding, calm, nonjudgmental, and inviting. Clients can expect a confidential session in a warm, open environment, with minimal distractions.
I work with clients who are having difficulties with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma, exploring career options, job search strategies, work-life balance, providing support and strategies for individuals struggling with addiction and recovery, and Teaching clients' techniques to manage stress and enhance well-being through mindfulness practices.
