At the University of North Texas, I received both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2019 and my Master’s degree in Counseling in 2022. I have spent the last 4 years serving children 10+, teens and adults regarding a multitude of concerns.

Acculturation is the process of adopting cultural traits or social norms of another group, and is a common experience for individuals who have migrated. People who migrate often encounter stress and adjustment problems with limited access to mental health support. Relationship and family conflicts, traumatic experiences, life transition challenges, loss, problems related to boundary setting, poor self-esteem and self-concept are common issues, only to name a few. The goal of therapy is to help you become most resilient and adaptive in your family and community by managing these challenging circumstances.

WE OFFER PHONE AND VIDEO SESSIONS. Able to offer ADHD and personality testing. Sometimes the hardest step is the first one, and part of my goal is to ensure that you feel safe in the therapeutic relationship. Without that feeling of trust, it can be hard to gain ground on the changes you want to see. My clients would describe me as tough and goal driven - I strive to ensure we are working on your goals both in and out of the session (my clients may also describe the homework I send their way). Recovery of any form is a part of the human condition. As a therapist, I look at recovery as a journey that I assist in. I work with folks who are wanting to learn more about themselves, and further a personal recovery identity. This includes (but is not exclusive too), eating disorders and substance use disorders.

I was in a low place once (I call it darkness, I was in a place of darkness) and it caused me to seek help from a stranger, a therapist.
