Hi there. I'm a Johns Hopkins trained, board certified therapist and I would be honored to work with you. Therapy is a collaborative endeavor. I bring to the table my years of clinical experience, as well as my caring and commitment to you, I ask only that you bring an openness to begin looking at your challenges. Together we will identify your goals and come up with a plan to achieve them. In a safe and compassionate environment, I'll provide you with a personalized therapeutic approach tailored to your unique circumstances.
Prior to private practice, I provided student and faculty mental health services at the University of Maryland, worked on the County Mobile Crisis Teams, and for 8 years I worked on the inpatient psychiatry units at Johns Hopkins. I have extensive experience in mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse recovery, and life transitions.
I treat clients ages 16 and older. I work with individuals, as well as couples and families. While I utilize a number of different therapies, including Dialectical Behavioral, Cognitive Behavioral, Radical Acceptance, and Psychodynamic therapy, I use each of them in a comfortable conversational format.
