At Sunrise Counseling, we offer you or your child support that encourages understanding, changes, and growth. Sunrise Counseling is a private practice in Snellville, Georgia and we enjoy working with children, families, and adults who are feeling stuck and need help finding a way to forward and manage behavior, depression, or anxiety that interfere with your success.
Depression, anxiety, school or work-related problems are typical struggles of people who come to me for counseling. We also specialize in trauma-related therapy and use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in this practice, when appropriate.
We have 2 therapists at Sunrise Counseling. Christine Burrell Townsend, LCSW, ACSW, and Madeline Thompson, APC. Ms. Townsend sees clients M-W and has in-person and telehealth/virtual sessions, Ms. Thompson sees clients T-Th and also offers in-person and telehealth/virtual sessions
