I believe that psychotherapy involves the client's self-exploration and behavioral change, facilitated by the therapist, with the goal of reducing symptoms and enhancing personal effectiveness and growth. I am a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Peachtree Corners. I specialize in treating adults, either individually or as couples, who are experiencing depression, anxiety, or relationship difficulties. I offer long-term or brief interventions, depending on the client's needs. I use an eclectic approach, drawing upon cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and acceptance and commitment therapies.
I also specialize in smoking cessation treatment. I facilitate individual clients quitting smoking using the QuitSmart Stop Smoking program.
During Covid, I have been providing only telehealth sessions (video or phone). Over this next year of 2023, I will be deciding if I will return to in-person sessions in PT Corners or continue with only telehealth. In addition to weekday appointments, I offer evening appointments. My 2023 new-client fee is $190 per 60-minute session.
