Like bits of colored glass in a kaleidoscope, each member of a family contributes their own unique shape and style to the family pattern. I help families, couples and individuals work towards resolving issues by speaking to their wellness, and building the strengths they need to resolve the issues. I help sharpen the focus to "help the pieces fall into place". Using a cognitive approach, I customized it to speak the language of the client to help communication.
Relationships are wonderful and people are very different. Often we forget to respect our differences and do loving things for each other. "love is a behavior". Learning new "love" behaviors enhance relationships. Teaching couples how to laugh, love, and be creative is my specialty.
I have personally blended a family of six children and dealt with fertility issues. I love to teach "special families " how to avoid pitfalls, have fun, and to love each other.
