Many persons experience Depression and Anxiety. Depression is a culmination of symptoms that adversely impacts a person's well-being. It has a negative impact on a person's daily functioning, decision-making, level of motivation, work or school performance, physical health, negative feelings towards people, relationships, and activities; uncertainty about your next move in life and/ or redefining your purpose to move forward in life. Anxiety is one of the most intense symptoms of depression. It is the preoccupation of worrying or anticipating something to occur even though it has not happened. It impacts mood and behavior as well.
I specialize in treating persons struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress, Anger Management, Impulse Control, ADHD, Alcohol Use, Alcohol-related traffic offenses, e.g., DUI, OUI. In addition, I counsel Veterans, Law Enforcement Officers and evaluate persons applying for Short-Term Disability - Leave of Absence.
