CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. Everyone needs counseling or therapy at some point during the life. It is the wise that seek help when needed. My counseling approach is to foster authentic relationships and an environment where clients feel safe and comfortable sharing. Counseling is a partnership to help you identify, understand, and overcome the hurdles that life has given you. For clients who are experiencing grief, I am a specialist in grief and unresolved (complicated) grief.
I am a LPC-A. I possess a PhD in Psychology from Walden University and MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I have three books published. My writing and insight into psychological issues, parenting, and child development earned the award of Top Writer for LifeHack.org (a top 5 self-help website worldwide) in 2018.
My goal is to help clients heal, progress, and become the best versions of themselves. I want to partner with clients to help them overcome life's hurdles, whether help is needed short or long-term. A Christian counseling approach is utilized with Christian clients, but only to the extent of the client's preferences, as discussed at the onset of therapy.
