Dr. Glyn Brown specializes in working with children and adolescents and their parents. She has experience treating a range of disorders including Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Attentional Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Dr. Brown earned her Ph.D. in Family & Child Development from Auburn University, her Master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama.
In addition to working directly with children and families, Dr. Brown is a mentor and supervisor to interns starting in the field. She is a qualified supervisor for the State of Florida, as well as a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor for the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Dr. Brown has extensive experience assisting military families with the unique issues that sometimes arise around life in the armed services. She offers school- and job-friendly office hours, and works to help clients with emergency counseling needs.
