Dzejna is currently a fourth-year student pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Adler University and has earned her BA in Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago. Before joining CCBH, Dzejna worked at Guada Psychological Services, Mental Health Solutions, and a non-profit community-based organization, Together Chicago. Through her clinical training, she gained experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy, administering neuropsychological evaluations, and providing socio-emotional learning and mentoring to school-aged children in under-served communities.
Dzejna has provided therapy to clients struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, eating and body image, family conflict, traumatic experiences, acculturation, self-esteem, emotion regulation, school performance, and many other challenges.
Dzejna is a first-generation college student whose family background is of central European and Middle Eastern descent, and takes pride in the diversity of her cultural competence and ability to validate clients' acculturation experiences.
