My name is Dzana Saynes, DM, MS, LPC, and I am a therapist with a Lithuanian upbringing and accent. I believe that a unique approach to life changes, and difficulties can be accomplished through cooperative engagements toward improving or making powerful changes in your unique life situations. I specialize in helping clients improve interpersonal skills, reduce symptoms of mental illness, develop better cognitive and emotional skills, and improve self-esteem.
Trauma-focused therapy models, EMDR, CPT, and trauma-focused CBT interventions, also I utilize a multicultural counseling approach integrated with Solutions -focused therapy, Person-centered, Motivational Interviewing techniques, Acceptance and Commitment ACT model, and existential therapy approaches.
We create therapy goals together, so clients are never left alone wondering what they can get from therapy. I am always there with them to help them figure it out. We get to know each other to see if we are a good fit, including history-taking conversations. I prepare the client for the first session, which is an intake session.
