Mental health can be a taboo topic that can be difficult to explore. You may be new to therapy or be skeptical of the process of beginning therapy. I work from a collaborative background, encouraging clients to be involved in the therapeutic process as well as steer their own journey. In sessions, I work to demystify mental health and answer any questions you may have. As a queer identifying person, I offer gender affirming and celebratory care to multiple marginalized populations as they navigate life transitions, sexuality, depression, anxiety, and other presenting concerns.
I am honored to be invited into your personal growth journey. I have specific experience in supporting clients as they explore racial, gender, and sexual identities as well as managing life related anxiety, depression, and other presenting concerns. I have experience in working with individuals, couples, and groups in a private practice setting.
Beginning therapy can be a great idea whether you need immediate support or are anticipating presenting problems. My role in sessions is to provide you with a safe, welcoming, and warm environment to explore your fullest self and build resilience.
