Dynamic Therapy offers in-person and online couples counseling and individual psychotherapy in Manhattan. We specialize in adults in the family-building years - navigating adult romantic relationships, mental health issues, perinatal mental health and PMADs, infertility and loss; and couples therapy, marriage counseling, and supporting parents in the massive transition into family life.
As experienced, skilled Manhattan psychotherapists we specialize in helping adults and partners develop the skills required for managing stress and emotions and building supportive, sustainable relationships. We have specialized in the perinatal mental health space for many years, and subsequently supported couples in family-building and parenting.
Our approach is deeply compassionate and rooted in Attachment Theory and Interpersonal Neurobiology. This is a safe, judgment-free space where our experienced, licensed clinicians collaborate with you to explore what you’d like to achieve in treatment. It's a person-centered approach, inspired by Carl Rogers' concept of “unconditional positive regard".

Initially we have a 15 minute telephone conversation to understand if we are a good fit and discuss scheduling. Our first session is 60 minutes, and subsequent weekly sessions are 45 mins for individuals and 50 mins for couples. We work together to understand your goals for treatment and monitor your symptoms and feedback ongoing.
