Hello, my name is Dyelicia Vasquez. I am a LCSW. I have been working in mental health for over 16 years now and I absolutely love what I do. Looking forward to helping you with your mental health journey. I believe that therapy is a journey that is precious and unique. I listen in a nonjudgemental way while providing nontraditional style services. I utilize CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to assist with a person’s therapeutic goals.
I typically work with individuals who have small anxieties, grief, daily life issues, adjustment disorders, depression, and also with the child and family dynamics. I am very down to earth and transparent. I am honest and direct and encourage the same with those I work with.
For most of my life I have been the responsible one in my family. I have experienced my own traumas and adversities in life which has lead me to the work I do. I have always wondered why people do the things they do and how their environment has impacted so many of their decisions.
