About
I am a Filipino American Therapist, who is not Filipino enough to be acknowledged by my own family as Filipino due to being born in America; and I'm not American enough to be acknowledged by Americans due to not being white. This identification and acknowledgment in my life have provided me a unique perspective and opportunity to help those I work with to manage the conditioned beliefs of perfectionism, and toxic family dynamics, religious traumas and heal from the experienced childhood trauma. I provide culturally sensitive therapy for Asian Americans who struggle with shame, guilt, and perfectionism to heal, grow and thrive.
I work with a range of concerns including complex trauma, grief & loss, anxiety, identity development, relational & family conflict & life transitions, & religious trauma. I also work with the LGBTQ+ population, completing the WPATH training to provide letters of support for HRT therapies and surgeries.
It's not easy to reach out; stepping out of your comfort zone is scary & exhausting. I understand. I'll work with you step by step. I firmly believe anyone can recover from their pain & struggles with the appropriate support; they can even grow & thrive to arrive closer to their desired future. I am honored to be a guide in your healing journey.
