My approach is informed by a therapy model called AEDP, which seeks to undo aloneness and draw upon your innate healing capacity.
In the therapy process, I show up as warm, accepting, candid, and direct. I come alongside you and, together, we co-create a space within which you feel safe-enough to explore new ways of being and relating.
I offer a free 25-minute consultation to give you a feel for working together and to help us decide if we'd be a good fit for therapy. During the pandemic, I found that therapy over Zoom works beautifully for most clients. I'm happy to meet with you in-person at my Lexington, VA, office, or we can meet virtually if you live anywhere in Virginia or Texas.
