Those experiences have been rewarding in the opportunities they have provided for me to facilitate and witness client growth. My view of the therapeutic relationship is that of a process in which the client and the therapist build a therapeutic alliance to: explore and identify areas for improvement, develop goals, and work together realizing those goals and optimizing quality of life.
