I am certified in anxiety, depression, and trauma (EMDR). I am also a relationship expert with a PhD in marriage and family therapy and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-S, LICSW). I have over 20 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, groups, and families. I'm the author of the relationship survival guide- “Hate My Marriage”. Many of my clients choose alternative methods for dealing with anxiety and depression instead of prescription medication. I am also a certified herbalist and a practitioner of yoga. I'm not just EMDR "trained", but also certified with advanced hours in trauma.
I am trained in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), CPT (cognitive processing therapy) and I’m a certified facilitator for Prepare/Enrich (marital & premarital). I help couples work through their conflicts and achieve the kind of relationship they desire. I am happily married and the mother of two young adults. I work from a Christian framework.
I founded the "Fierce Self-Esteem" course - an interactive course with over 70 modules, including lectures, assessments, activities, and discussion. I’m licensed in AZ, TX, CT, and MN.

The support/education group is for individuals who have experienced inadequate maternal nurturance and love. We have created a community and a space that aids in healing from mother trauma. The wounds caused by our relationship with our mother can have a significant impact on our attachment styles, communication, body image, eating habits, sexuality, self-esteem, our own parenting, and etcetera. It is crucial to free ourselves from the burden of mother baggage to live more harmoniously with ourselves and others.
