I have an extensive background working with the elderly, chronic and terminal illness, disability, bereavement and life transitions. My focus is coping with grief, loss of independence, life transitions and family dynamics. I use evidence-based practices to help individuals and families modify and adapt to life stressors related to aging and illness. I offer office, telehealth and mobile visits.
Some of the biggest hurdles faced by the elderly are loss of mobility, eyesight, hearing and independence. Some can no longer drive while others may have lost a spouse, and many have failing health. I can assist in improving quality of life by helping client reduce depression and anxiety while increasing life satisfaction.
Aging comes with grief, life transition and loss of independence. Many clients are homebound due to mobility issues and disability, and I offer home visits in addition to office and telehealth visits. I would love to have the opportunity to work with you.
