Greetings! My name is Antoinette Allen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am passionate about therapy and enthusiastic about internal healing. In my career I have served in various settings such as a residential treatment centers, School settings, foster care and adoption, safe shelthers, psychiatric hospital and private practice. I have served all age groups. I have provided individual, family, and group therapy for over 10 years. Looking forward to being of service!

Bonnie is well versed in mental health and addiction giving her the experience to work in dual diagnosis environment. Her experience is diverse, and includes working with Veterans, children/adolescents, school settings, families and couples, as well as with the courts as a Liaison and an evaluator.

In my counseling vocation, I am driven and passionate about helping others to achieve their optimal mental health and wellness. In my over six years of experience, I am humbled to have had the opportunity to help adolescents and adults through various hardships such as dual diagnosis (adolescent/adult clients) struggling with a mental health disorder and a substance use disorder simultaneously. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) under the supervision of Dr. Seth Sampson at Evolucíon Counseling. I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of clinical experience. I’ve provided counseling for many different populations at various levels of care, including adults and adolescents struggling with Addiction, Alcohol Use, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Anger Management, Child Abuse or Neglect, Dual Diagnosis, Relapse Prevention, Substance Use, and Stress. I use a mix of Attachment-based, CBT, Client-Centered Therapy, Family Systems, Trauma Focused, Strength-Based, Narrative, and Person-Centered. I believe that having to navigate through my struggles, I can relate to feeling hopeless which enables me to help.

I was raised in a very dysfunctional family. While I will not go into details about this, that part of my life; the stress, anxiety, and depression led me to have a strong desire to not only understand the principles behind mental health but help others in dealing with their issues thus allowing them a bit of solace, easing that burden. Counselors, social workers, and psychologists are all people too, we usually are not perfect people trying to lead you down the perfect path.
