I am passionate about serving those who are in need of hope, love, joy, peace, healing, and empowerment. My main goal is to assist one in reaching personal/professional goals, addressing trauma, and experiencing healing/wholeness in every area of one's life. My specialties are pre-marital, marital, family conflict, addiction, trauma, anger/stress management, and dual diagnosis. As therapist, it is my role to provide a safe, non judgmental atmosphere to ensure you feel valued, worthy, and safe in order to experience restoration and transformation.

Currently accepting daytime appointments only. Evenings are full. Life happens and change happens, whether we want it to or not, and sometimes we need some support and guidance to weather these changes. I act as a professional guide through those rough times. Through therapy, change can become an exciting, growth provoking process that creates stronger relationships. My motto has always been "Many roads lead to recovery". For as long as I can remember, I recognized a fire in me to be able to provide a safe place for those who needed it. Speaking as a queer woman, my lived experiences have directed me towards becoming an advocate for systemic equality and change. My passions lie in trauma-informed care, gender-affirming care, and helping high conflict relationships of all backgrounds navigate through their journey. I strive to cultivate a non-judgmental environment that allows for connection and validty. Together we can identify and utilize your inner potential and strength to nurture the growth you desire to achieve.

Hey there! I’m so happy that you are taking the first steps on your wellness journey! While a new and sometimes scary thing, I hope that you will trust me to support you in this new era of your life. You deserve it! In the therapeutic space, my goal is always to support you and provide a safe environment. I use the Polyvagal Theory, emphasizing the importance of integrating emotions, the body, and the nervous system.

My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.

Counseling doesn't have to be overwhelming and intimidating! Art Therapy will provide an opportunity for you to explore difficult emotions, gain insight and understanding in how these emotions are impacting your life, and develop strategies to manage them in healthier ways. We will explore the underlying issues that are causing feelings of distress- Stop putting a band-aid over it; let's get to the root of the symptom! Gain a better understanding of yourself, your relationships, and the events in your life that may have led to burnout, increased stress, or symptoms of anxiety or depression.

As a professional counselor, I believe in the power of each individual to overcome barriers that prevent their life pathway from taking a more positive direction. I am invested in creating a calm and safe haven where growth and improvement can occur. Using a person-centered approach requires understanding the perspective patients have about issues in their lives to foster open, honest communication within a therapeutic relationship. When people feel comfortable expressing their emotions, an effective counselor is able to gain knowledge of how that person views their problems.

Counseling is recommended for those that may be currently experiencing some type of unwanted or unmanageable emotional or "thinking" difficulty that requires the assistance of a trained mental health professional. Coaching is recommended for those that are looking for less intensive guidance in assisting them to enhance their own personal performance.

Society Today is faced with multiple Life stressors ranging from Financial, Marital, Relational, issues with employment and or Life In General. Through Therapy, an Individualized Improvement Plan can be devised and implemented to assist individuals with coping and possibly overcoming the issues they are facing. Adolescents and Teens are complicated, and I am eager to assist. Teen groups are available as well as individualized treatment. Two people working together are always better than one. As a therapist I have learned the more input a client contributes to their therapeutic goals the better the outcomes and success possibility.
