Welcome to my practice! I am Kayla Angelini, a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a focus on providing therapeutic support to teenagers. With a wealth of experience in various settings, including inpatient units, school environments, group homes, and telehealth, My ultimate goal is to empower teenagers to develop coping skills, enhance self-esteem, and build healthy relationships. I have 25+ years working in the field of mental health with children, adolescents, and adults. My wide range of experiences provides me with the knowledge and skills to help people through difficult times in their lives and guide them through the challenges, and sometimes, difficult transitions and adjustments. My job is to provide clients with new skills that empower them to look at their issues from a new perspective and empower them to engage in a change process.

I offer my clients a collaborative, engaging environment where we work together to solve issues. I believe that we hold within ourselves the answers to our conflicts, and often, only require a coach or an assistant to help us realize those answers. I utilize cognitive behavioral strategies, motivational techniques and behavioral principles to engage you in self-discovery and problem solving. In this safe and open environment, we will uncover hidden behavioral tendencies and unhelpful thinking patterns, and we will work together to correct these issues. Becoming aware of these patterns is the key to changing them.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist I work with individuals and couples treating a variety of relational and mental health issues. As an assistant neuropsychological associate to our staff Psychiatrist, I assist in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, attentional issues and cognitive complaints. Through the assessment process, together and in collaboration with our staff Psychiatrist, we establish differential diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We are now testing for Autism Diagnosis.

I help to build a bright future for children and families. The Center for Learning and Psychological Services offers comprehensive psychological and learning based services to individuals birth to age 25. My specialty areas include;psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, behavioral services, diagnostic evaluations, and individual and group counseling, and play based therapy. I also coordinate all learning based services through our center for; tutoring, executive functioning coaching, and learning based support.
