I am a clinically trained therapist offering clients a diverse and progressive therapeutic experience. I have extensive experience with substance use disorders and mental health issues. My training has included working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I utilize the assessments to create and develop plans focusing on supportive and individualized therapy. I also provide assessments to help individuals navigate and walk into treatment facilities with no hassles. My goal is to make the process of treatment easier for everyone involved.

I have had the privilege of providing support and care to residents of the city of Philadelphia and its suburbs, for over 20 years. I began my career working with people suffering from substance addiction and living on the streets of Philadelphia. It is here that I developed my love for those who feel stuck in difficult places.

I am a licensed psychologist with a specialty in forensic psychology. I conduct ethical training for mental health professionals throughout the United States. I have published extensively in the overlap area of psychology and law.

I believe we should all have access to a space where we can be open and honest with who we are and what we need to thrive. It is important to me that I support individuals in cultivating such a space with safety and freedom of feelings, thoughts and emotions. We all deserve a chance to thrive in life and find some sense of peace and understanding of experiences that make us who we are. Lisa is the owner of TFS and is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in therapy for all Eating Disorders including ; Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder and disordered eating and food and weight disorders. TFS has several wonderful clinicians on staff to meet the needs of our clients. Anna Stewart is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University’s Couple and Family Therapy Program with a concentration in sex therapy. She is a systemically-oriented therapist who has experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in distressed couples with one or both individuals experiencing diagnoses such as depression, and anxiety. She has a background in sex education and enjoys working with teens and young adults navigating their social and romantic relationships. She also specializes in clients that are working in the food and beverage service industry, a population she is well-acquainted with.

I see my job as a therapist as providing a particular kind of space. A space that helps people to feel comfortable, and one that helps people to talk.
