I offer a safe and empathetic space to process life experiences and emotions. We will work together at your pace and shape treatment around the idea of improving your quality of life. I believe in searching through past life experiences in order to fully understand how one’s present life may be impacted. I utilize cognitive behavioral techniques, trauma informed therapy, and mindfulness to assist in increasing your own self awareness.

I have extensive training in treating mood disorders including anxiety disorder, depression and bipolar disorder coupled with a dual diagnosis using experiential techniques, with a Psychodynamic theoretical base and Cognitive Behavioral theoretical base, preferably in an individual setting. Systemic approach would invite couples and family to be a part of the healing process.

I have experience with various diagnoses and have worked with clients aged 8 and above. I specialize in trauma disorders, substance use, abuse and dependence, dual diagnosis and borderline personality disorder. I offer different treatment modalities to address symptoms and core issues relating to these issues.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor and a Substance Abuse Professional with over 30 years of experience in behavior healthcare. I provide a full array of behavioral health services based upon cognitive behavioral theory to individuals, couples and families. I strongly believe in an interactive, non-directive, non-judgmental approach to counseling. I can provide you with the tools and information that will assist you to develop healthy self-care skills thereby promoting growth.

I started my therapy career as a Drug & Alcohol dual diagnosis counselor in 2016 and have expanded my client base and areas of concentration ever since then. I work with clients suffering from traumatic experiences, addiction, depression, anxiety, grief & loss, personality disorders, and family issues. My client population is 18 and over and I do individual as well as couples counseling, both in person and on telehealth. I use EMDR, CBT, Mindfulness, grounding skills, and emotional regulation techniques to help my clients reach their goals.

Therapy is a journey that is self-directed but, by using an empathetic therapist you can achieve your highest potential and goals that you set for yourself. My practice focuses on predominately all things included in women's mental health. Issues surrounding Pregnancy anxiety & Depression, Postpartum Mood & anxiety disorders, Pregnancy/Infancy grief & loss, Birth Trauma, NICU parenting, and infertility. Water Gap Wellness offers the most comprehensive and intensive Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment Program in the Northeast. The Program requires a continuous commitment of 6 hours per day 6 days per week. Preferred housing is available. The Program includes 1 weekly session with a psychiatrist, 2 sessions with your primary therapist, and daily group sessions. Water Gap Wellness is an outpatient provider that accepts all private insurance. Located 75 miles from NYC and less than 100 miles from Philadelphia and Connecticut.
