I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Social Worker and have been working with clients ages 14 and up for the last fourteen years. I started as a Domestic Violence Advocate in 2008 and received both my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master Degree in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College. I interned as a Social Worker at Strong Memorial Partial Hospitalization for Teens and at Genesee/Orleans Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse. I work with individuals, couples, as well as families who have a history of domestic violence, trauma, depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, and those who have experienced bullying.

I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward a healthier self and relationships. I have years of experience as a licensed counselor in inpatient and private practice settings in Arizona, and I am now practicing in New York.

In this journey we call life, we seem to accumulate experiences that make us who we are. Through these experiences we develop a story, often after many drafts. Sometimes when we talk about our life it just doesn't sound or feel right because telling your own story can be scary or feel weird. It can be useful to have an editor to help us to express ourselves. Therapy is an opportunity to be truly heard and receive objective, strengths-based, non-judgmental reflection on how the story sounds outside of your own head. It provides you the opportunity to make edits until you feel just right telling your story safely with confidence.
