Originally from a residential treatment and school counseling background, I've worked with adolescents experiencing crisis, post-traumatic stress, family separation, depression, learning disorders, and anxiety. I've since worked with a number of organizations for dual-diagnosis, persons experiencing homelessness, and the LGBTQIA community. My experience providing community counseling has expanded to populations of different backgrounds, cultures, and of all ages. I provide a therapy that is safe, open, and provides a space of understanding and introspection for all clients with a goal that leads towards better well-being.

We will work together to identify coping strategies and thoughts that have kept you "stuck" and resolve/heal issues that may have kept you from being who you were meant to be so you can Live a Happy and fulfilling life. Growth and change are possible for everyone. My approach to working with individual, couples, and families is grounded in developing self- awareness. I use a relationally and culturally appropriate based approach to develop strong connections and provide insight to heal relationships, For me, a compassionate and non-judgmental approach is key in working with clients in order to identify maladaptive coping patterns to help repair and strengthen relationships. My goal is to increase a person's emotional presence so that they can be fully available to their family and themselves.

I approach therapy as a collaborator. My method is client-centered and humanistic. I aim to accompany my clients in achieving the goals brought into the therapeutic environment with openness, empathy, and compassion. Creating goals in small steps is vital for progress and change. Identifying dysfunctional patterns and processing trauma will create lasting changes. My clients can learn to recognize unhealthy cycles and learn more in-depth about their attachment styles. I have a BA in psychology and a minor in child and adolescent development. My master's is in MFT.

I offer my expertise as a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, clinical Art Therapist and Transpersonal Psychology Counselor to assist in the healing process to anyone who may be experiencing and suffering from various mental health issues such as relational problems, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, addiction, and life transitions.
