I obtained my Master’s in Social Work from Springfield College and am a License Certified Social worker, LCSW. My primary expertise is in Addiction and Dual Diagnoses issues. Substance Abuse and Mental Health problems can become major roadblocks in one's life. These issues are nothing to be ashamed of and can be overcome with proper therapy and treatment.

I have assisted many clients in gaining insight into the issues that they are struggling with and healthier options that work for them. No client is the same as the next. We are all unique and take different paths in life and deserve a space to be heard. Clients struggle to connect with emotions, processing and regulating their emotions and struggle with finding positive solutions. Sometimes in life we don't know exactly what we want or which way to turn. I give my clients the space to learn about themselves and grow. I am compassionate, attentive and work with my clients to find the positive attributes in their lives.

Melanie (they/them) is a Mental Health Counselor from Puerto Rico with a diverse set of experiences across settings who strives to build trusting relationships and create a warm caring environment where you are invited to challenge ideas of judgement and critique, instead seeking to embrace self-compassion and build upon your strengths to help achieve satisfaction and fulfillment in day-to-day life. As well as supporting individuals and families with repair in relationships, building resiliency, and addressing the impact of systems issues, such as school support (IEP/504/CRA), hospitalizations, discrimination, among others.

I enjoy working with clients with a variety of life challenges and mental health or substance use issues, but I particularly enjoy working with clients who have experienced complex trauma and PTSD. I have experience with addiction, including opioid addiction, and dual diagnosis (mental health and addiction issues combined). I am currently accepting new clients for in-person or telehealth therapy and I am able to accept BCBS, Aetna, and Tufts commercial plans.

Mohamed is an established and highly skilled LICSW with over 8 years of clinical experience in behavioral and mental healthcare, and 15+ years of administrative management background. Mr. Alsaidy is a licensed independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts and Michigan and had been living and working in Michigan for more than 20 years before he moved to Massachusetts last year. Mr. Alsaidy specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management, dual diagnosis, and general life struggles. He has experience working with all age groups with a special focus on young adults.

George Carberry is licensed alcohol and drug counselor who is passionate about guiding people who experience substance use disorders to see and rediscover the light within themselves. George also earned his counseling license through attending Sober College School of Addictions Studies while living in Los Angeles, CA. Several years after graduating, George found himself on his own journey of recovery and healing where he discovered his passion working with individuals who experience substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions.

Currently accepting new clients for daytime appointments The decision to begin therapy can be overwhelming and scary but I’m hoping we can work together to make this transition a positive and beneficial one! My office is located at The Healing Path Farm, where our clients are invited to participate in animal based therapy, enjoy the nature that surrounds the farm, and participate in various farm activities.

I was inspired to name my business SPEAK counseling services because I truly believe that untreated mental health and substance abuse dependence stems from our inability to understand how it is our mind, emotions, and body is trying to speak to us. Similar to when we stub our pinky toe and we get a shot of pain ; our body will send us symptoms of anxiety, depression, recurrent dreams etc in an effort to communicate pain/discomfort. Since mental/emotional pain is a foreign and misunderstood language we often lean on behaviors that sooth It quickly (e.g addiction) this increases anxiety/depression as the pain is never truly managed.
