I enjoy working with the couple or family unit as a whole to ease tensions, improve communication, and enhance bonding. My experience has also included working with those impacted by Eating Disorders. Therapy helps build a safe connection with food and body in a way that feels approachable.

Through active engagement in the therapeutic process, in conjunction with assigned homework tasks between sessions, I can assist my clients with achieving the improvements they wish for, resulting in a healthier outcome for their lives. Alia is experienced in the treatment of clients on issues involving trauma, abuse, eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction, attachment wounds, & interpersonal relationships. She uses various therapeutic modalities including EMDR, IFS, attachment-focused therapy, and trauma-sensitive meditation/movement. Currently, Alia contracts with Resolve Strategies, Inc., a private practice specializing in process addictions, betrayal trauma, & trauma-induced disordered eating. Alia works with individuals of all gender identities and romantic/sexual orientations.
