All our services are available in English and Spanish. Every couple has room for improvement. We cover the relationship highs of dreaming together and the lows of divorce contemplation. Our system of therapy falls under the Gottman Institute and our passion is to help you alleviate the crisis that’s causing strain and strengthen relationship fundamentals. As a husband-wife team, we have the ability to do individual sessions, couple-to-couple sessions and Intensives (multi-day, usually over a weekend).

Dr. Chen has extensive experience working w/ substance use, eating disorders, PTSD, and mood disorders. Dr. Chen completed his clinical training at multiple clinics and also specializes in self-esteem and confidence development. The first goal is to understand why a person is struggling. Then, work with the patient to build resiliency and strength to adapt and overcome life's challenges. Dr. Chen incorporates real-world experiences/exposures with CBT/DBT and social skills training into his therapies to maximize the therapy gains. A focus of therapy is also on the development of happiness and finding the purpose/meaning for life.

Carelis facilitated a career change in 2017 from earning a Bachelors in Paralegal Studies to graduating with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from NOVA Southeastern University. Her passion in the field of psychology made her a great candidate in 2020, as a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Carlos Albizu University.
