I have extensive experience, both personally and professionally, with addiction and dual diagnosis treatment. I bring 10+ years of recovery to my work and, where appropriate, integrate it into my evidence-based practice and approach. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy and, per client needs, integrate additional practices (i.e. solution-focused, family systems, motivational enhancement, rational-emotive behavioral therapies).

I've been in the addictions / mental health (dual diagnosis) field for over 20 years in Colorado, and have been ‘clean’ 30 years (as of 9/1/93). I sincerely believe in clients' ability to make enduring change, after they have learned to identify and accept what's not working in their lives. I'm a very accessible and active therapist, and I offer specialized groups to meet clients' needs. Groups occur Tuesday through Saturday, depending on group assignment.
